ROUTES: The ride is a cloverleaf style ride with four different loops, each starting and ending at RW Kidder Middle School. Ride one or a combination of loops from 17 to 100 miles. Enjoy beautiful country roads, with light traffic. Terrain is flat to rolling.
ROUTE TIMES: All routes open at 7:00am, rain or shine. Riders selecting the 100 mile ride should plan to be on the road by 9:00 am. All riders must be on the route by 10:00 am. The school closes at 4:00pm so plan your riding time accordingly.
FOOD & SERVICE Pre-ride food, features bagels, orange juice. Lunch features hot dogs (including veggie dogs), baked beans, chips, veggies, fruit, chips & salsa beverages, and giant cookies. Riders can also look forward to sag stops, a detailed ride map, marked roads and sag vehicle service. Lunch served between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
COST: Pre-registration on or before July 21st is $15.00/individual or $32.00/family (A family is defined as 1 or 2 adults pus children ages 5-17.). To register after July 22nd up to and on the day of the ride is $20.00/individual or $42.00/family. Children under 5 are free. All pre-registered entries will be entered in a prize drawing.
T-SHIRT: A cool high-quality T-shirt is available with pre-registration on or before July 22nd: Short sleeve $12.00, Long sleeve - $15.00. A LIMITED number will be available the day of the ride.
REGISTRATION: You can register by printing our online form, filling in the blanks, then sending it in, with your payment, to our club at the address listed on the form.
Registration forms are available at local bike shops as well as other locations. You may also print the actual brochure, fill in the blanks, then send it in with your payment.
On the day of the ride, registration is from 7:00 - 10:00am at R.W. Kidder Middle School (formerly Northwest Junior High School) 6700 Rives Junction Rd., Jackson, Michigan.
SAFETY For all riders, a helmet is required.
