Ron Utter
During the 2003 Minard Mills, I had the pleasure of driving a sag vehicle. I say it was a pleasure,
because while I was driving, my thoughts were on just how great the ride was and how nice all the
Minard Mills routes are to bike. I noticed how the routes were all low traffic volume, smooth, paved,
scenic roads. Just a beautiful area to bike. So you think I'm exaggerating? Look what some of the

Ron Utter is a long-time member of the Cascades Cycling Club. For 2003 he is serving as club
Secretary. Ron regularly provides articles to our newsletter. Thanks to Ron for providing samples of
the rider feedback. The samples above are representative of a lot of positive comments we received about
the ride. Ron was our official photographer at this year's Minard Mills ride. Actually, Ron has been
our official photographer at the last few Minard Mills
Rides and has contributed the pictures you've seen in previous editions of the newsletter and on our
website. In addition to assistance with pre-Ride preparations, Ron was a Sag Driver at the ride this
year.
